Gulfstream G-III

The G-III was built between 1980 and 1986. It is still instantly recognisable as a Gulfstream with the signature Gulfstream ramp presence. The fuselage and wing design is unchanged in appearance. It is only when you are on board the GIII that its true age becomes more noticeable, particularly in the avionics. In the 80s, the G-III cost $37million but can now be purchased incredibly cheaply. That said, it is worth noting that older aircraft will generally cost require more maintenance and it is important to budget for higher operating costs.
