Bombardier Learjet 60

The Learjet has been in production since 1966 but has significantly changed over the time. It has grown in size, performance and range as it was redesigned and the engine redeveloped. Probably best known for their flight characteristics similar to a fighter jet, it is exceptionally manoeuvrable and able to climb at incredible rates, getting it to high altitude in minutes. The numbering broadly indicates fuselage length, as the design has grown in length over the years. The most important change between 55 & 60 is a new power plant in the form of the Pratt & Whitney Turbine.
